The Way To Keep Small Entertained
When my first grandchild came into my life I decided to become a stay at home grandmother. He was very fun and smart. I kept his room packed with things to do that would spark his imagination. His favorite thing became a huge card board box. For a long time he colored, painted and done anything about his box. We had tools so he could pretend to become builder. For a short time the box was his house. We made doors and windows. Had little chairs and a kitchen for your boyfriend to switch his house into a cafe. We had tea parties and invited all his play friends. When that got boring he turned his box inside working car garage packed with trucks and cars to work on. He would would become ready for work placed on a big Black hat SEO, Papa's work boots, pack a lunch in a big brown paper sack and kiss me good-bye. He would spend hours working and playing.
We found a childs camp set. Given that became a blast to watch and pretend. My little man would sneak through the woods hunting each of the lions, tigers and bears, bring them returning to his box and cook em high on his camp fire. All of the wonderful stories that little boy could come up with. All focus on a cardboard box.
It was very easy to entertain a young child with imagination along with a person to offer in many his special adventures.
For his bed he chose a comforter covered with an ant hill and little ants working throughout. There was ants around the pillows, ants on his curtains. He even had me put up wall stickers of ants and bugs so he is a really bug farmer, a bug catcher and an exterminator. Childrens bedding, childrens bedding accessories and bedroom decor and produce a childs imagination into high gear.
