Use Scrapbook Albums To Organize Your Pictures
If you are like many people, you have shoe boxes or photo albums filled with family pictures that need to be organized. One of the most enjoyable ways to deal with those pictures is to make a scrapbook album.
There are so many albums you can make. You can have a family album, an album for each child or even an album for your pets! You many want to make a scrapbook with your family vacation pictures. You could make a Disney scrapbook with pictures taken at Disney World. It is totally up to you to decide how you want your pictures organized in your albums.
Although there are a lot of supplies that you can purchase to make a scrapbook, you really don’t have to spend a lot of money. You will want to buy an album and your will probably need some refill scrapbook pages along with page protectors to keep your pictures safe. You may want to consider embellishments such as stickers, or you can just choose to make a simple album and maybe frame some pictures on colored paper made for scrap booking.
Scrapbook supplies are readily available. Large retail stores usually carry some scrapbook supplies in their hobby department. You will find a large assortment of items to choose from at a craft or hobby store. There are also scrapbook companies that market their products through consultants. Most craft stores will periodically hold classes designed to teach you how to make scrapbooks or you may be invited to attend a scrapbook party in someone’s home where the consultant will show the products her company sells and help you make a page using those products. Your scrapbook can be as elaborate or as simple as you like. The important thing to remember is that you are displaying your photos and preserving your memories.
You want to be sure that the products you buy to make your scrapbook are safe to use with your pictures. You can find information on the internet or in scrapbook magazines about the right kind of products to purchase.
Making a scrapbook is something that can be done alone or with a large group of people. It can be fun to make scrapbooks with your kids or spending a day working on your book with a group of friends. If you are enjoying snacks and drinks, it is a good idea to have them in an area away from the pictures so nothing gets accidentally spilled onto someone’s pictures or the page that they are working on.
The easiest way to begin scrap booking your photos is to begin with the most current ones and work backwards. Your memories are probably fresher, making it easier to journal. Get into the habit of scrap booking your photos as soon as they are printed and then work on the older photos as you have time. Scrap booking a photo album is a great, fun way to organize and share your photos!
