More than 10 years ago my Mom bought me a series of classic books by Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. I think, at the time, I was studying at Lancaster University in England. It’s a small school nestled in the Lake District which was also home to the Bronte sisters.
E and I have decided to revisit Pride and Prejudice this month and I’m so glad I still have my hardbound copy. I may not have the super-human ability that allows E to read a book from start to finish in one night but I do what I can!
This Sunday morning, I’m looking forward to brewing a big pot of coffee and diving into the Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy drama. Such a fun read!
So, what other classics would you recommend we add to our list?

Hmmm, “Passage to India” always has a place on my bookshelf as does “Wind in the Willows” for a hit of childhood nostalgia. Have fun reading P&P, the best novel ever written as far as I’m concerned!
