While traveling last week I didn’t have the chance to spend anytime in London and I know that shopping ”duty-free” in Terminal 3 doesn’t count but fell in love with a little perfume shop named Joe Malone. The store’s design was really simple but very elegant. White walls with black accents and the focus was, of course, on their product.
Perfume doesn’t sound like something different but with combinations like Wild Fig & Cassis, Sweet Lime & Cedar, and Nutmeg & Ginger it’s not your average Jo! I opted for the safer White Jasmine and Mint. A very light but clean scent that came in handy after eight and a half hours in the same up-right, seated position. It was definitely worth the extra effort it took to cram into my one quart clear travel bag! Seriously, Glad and Hefty have got to be making a fortune from this recent security requirement.
Anyway, the Joe Malone website offers free shipping which is good to know when I run out however I wonder how long it will take someone to invent a scratch and sniff monitor. Hum…maybe that’s not such a good idea.
